Advantec Glass Fiber Filters are depth filters made of pure borosilicate glass microfibers. These grades are thicker and have a high loading capacity and typically faster flow times. Recommended for filtering viscous fluids such as proteinaceous solutions and gels and as prefilter to extend membrane life. Binder-free and thermostable to 500°C Grade GA200 is a thick filter with high loading capacity. Ideal for liquid sugars and gels. Nominal Rating 0.8µm Grade GA100 has the fastest filtration speed and is ideal for filtration of precipitated proteins or cells as well as other applications in air pollution monitoring.
