Advantec Glass Fiber Filters are depth filters made of pure borosilicate glass microfibers. Organic binder gives these filters higher wet strength and lower fiber release compared to binder-free grades. Thermostable to 120°C. Recommended for high pressure filtration, applications requiring wet strength, or as a prefilter. Grade GC90 is recommended for filtration of fine particles and aerosols, clinical screening, or as a prefilter for membrane. Nominal Rating 0.5µm Grade DP70 is a thick filter with a very high loading capacity. Recommended for liquids with a high concentration of protein and other substances. Nominal Rating 0.6µm Grade GS25 is a thin filter with less loading capacity as others. Can be used for suspended solids analysis.
