Viral Transport System w/ MTM – General Throat Swab This swab kit enables the collection and transportation of clinical swab specimens containing viruses, such as SARS-CoV-2, chlamydia, mycoplasma, and ureaplasma. Viral samples properly stored in the media can be kept at room temperature for up to one week before nucleic acid isolation. Kit includes sterile collection tube with molecular transport media (MTM) and throat swab with flocked tip. Throat swabs, collection tube, and transport media available separately upon request.
