Their inherent softness and thermal expansion properties help to prevent column damage due to overtightening while maintaining a leak-free seal throughout temperature cycling. Agilent offers a comprehensive selection of 100% graphite ferrules made for use with a variety of GC columns. These ferrules are recommended for making leak-free connections between the GC column and injector port in high temperature applications. Agilent now coats each premium 11-mm inlet septa with plasma to eliminate sticking in the GC inlet. with our premium non-stick septa, you’ll never have to scrape bits of septum out of your inlet. Our premium septa also have a recess on the injection side that guides the syringe needle to the same point with every injection.
