ADVANCEBIO SIALIDASE A, 66 KDA

Description

Agilent Endoglycosidases (formerly ProZyme) release oligosaccharides from glycoproteins and some other substrates. These enzymes are useful for deglycosylating glycoproteins prior to analysis, or for releasing N-glycans for labeling and analysis. Useful in N-glycan analysis, Agilent offers PNGase F, an asparagine amidase that releases intact N-glycans. PNGase F cleaves between the innermost GlcNac of the N-glycan and the asparagine (Asn) residue of the peptide to which the N-glycan is linked. AdvanceBio Sialidase A, 66 kDa (formerly ProZyme). A lower molecular weight version of GK80040 sialidase A for challenging digestions. Enzyme releases a(2-3)-, a(2-6)-, a(2-8), and a(2-9)-linked N-acetylneuraminic acid from oligosaccharides and glycoproteins. Also capable of releasing N-glycolylneuraminic acid. Lower mol wt sialidases may help desialylate glycans if steric hindrance is an issue. If you think a lower mol wt sialidase will help desialylate your glycans, you can also try our 88, 66 and 51 kDa Sialidase A sampler kit (GK80043). Application: Enzyme Source: Recombinant Gene From Arthrobacter Ureafaciens, Expressed in E. Coli. Sialidases are also Known as Neuraminidases This product is only available to U.S. Domestic Customers. For research use only, not to be used in diagnostic procedures.
