Description

BioLight bioluminescent bacteria (reagent) is used for acute toxicity testing. It is freeze dried for extended life then stored frozen at -20 C and is reconstituted before use. BioLight reagent is manufactured using the marine bacterium Aliivibrio fischeri*. This strain of bacteria meets the ISO 11348-3 and has been used for over 30 years to measure toxicity in water, sediments, soil and foods.  Multi Sample Reagent is for use with a benchtop luminometer.
